Several of our models are delivered with a second set of laces, which makes it easy to change the look of the pair. Here is what each option changes, and how to swap them.
Flat or round laces
Flat laces give a neater, cleaner look. Round laces give a more relaxed look, closer to skate shoes. On boots, round laces also hold a knot better.

Tonal or contrasting laces
Tonal laces give a more uniform, discreet look. Contrasting laces, such as ice blue on a black boot, draw attention to the lacing and lighten the overall look.
Swapping the laces
Remove the old laces completely rather than threading the new ones behind them. Start at the bottom pair of eyelets and keep both ends the same length as you go up.
On boots, you can leave the top pair of eyelets open for more ankle movement, or lace them for more support.
Looking after the laces
Keep the spare pair in the box. Laces can be washed by hand in lukewarm water and dried flat.
