OUR STORY - BUILT FROM CULTURE

Every collection starts with something personal.

A childhood memory. A point of view on the world. Something that marked you and wouldn't let go. Or simply a reference that needed to become an object, because that was the only way to say what you meant.

Flower Instincts was built on that impulse. Not trend cycles. Cultural references specific, loaded ones translated into things you can wear and recognize.

FRANCE, 2021 - THE GARAGE

No investors. No press. No industry contacts. Chrome and Trent started with a hand-drawn logo, a preorder page, and three models. Pairs shipped from a garage.

Stripe froze the preorder funds. A Portuguese supplier four months into developing a new model dropped out mid-process, the country in full COVID production rush. Merchandise blocked at customs The community was small. It bought anyway.

That trust became the capital. Not to scale to upgrade.

2022 - HANDCRAFTED IN PORTUGAL

A full year visiting factories in Portugal. Testing samples. Rejecting what wasn't right.

The Flin was the first pair built there. Cloud Berry launched it in soft beige and baby blue, with a tracksuit, a tee, and a hoodie. Le Site de la Sneaker wrote about it without being asked. The standard had been set, and it was going up.

Tobacco followed built around the visual codes of cigarette packaging. Flower Loops. Texas Butter. Black Ash. Each collection named for its obsession. By year's end, the first SDT silhouette circulating on Instagram no release date, no announcement. People were already asking.

2023 - PARIS FASHION WEEK

The SDT launched. Black Tar. Crystal. Bretton Woods built with New Jersey artist Rebecca Maria, around the culture of money. The reference points were Scarface and Blow. Not as inspiration. As load-bearing walls.

Paris Fashion Week with IRL Paris, the first pop-up: a space built like a late-night convenience store. A grey and blue SDT, a white tee made for the city.

Then a second Fashion Week, the women's edition with Maison Guava, built around the mythology of opium.

The first time real faces appeared behind the community.

2024 - COMPLEXCON LAS VEGAS

The Desert Eagle. The Penny designed with Thomas Iser.

Léo Kpodzro brought his work on consumerism to the SDT at Paris Fashion Week. Sweet Laces × Sour Flower childhood candy turned collectable. Pizza Delamama five flavors, five silhouettes, 100 pieces each, raffle only, in collaboration with Mister V.

Then: ComplexCon. Las Vegas. The custom motorcycle built for the Motor collection stand was held at customs. The team split in two. One group stayed on the floor and started drawing the stand design directly with visitors markers, an empty space, the community building what the installation should have been. The other flew to Oakland, walked into the FedEx facility, and drove eight hours back with everything. The motorcycle arrived on day two.

The stand was built twice once by hand with visitors, once off a truck.

2025 - THE BOOTED GOAT

The Booted Goat launched. Every new colorway sold out.

The Flower Club for those who had been there before it was obvious. In Paris, a dinner at L'Aperouz with Yesjulz the creative who ran cultural strategy with Kanye West. That dinner opened a door. The American market started paying attention.

Cor-V Runner. Clay Court. Active Wear. Mohair. Lisa Junius painted her art feminine, celestial, organic directly onto the SDT in Italian suede. Blue and pink. Un Magasin Différent brought the Booted Goat to Geneva: the HEIDI Boots, built around Swiss legend, box signed by Dexter Maurer.

ComplexCon again. Flower Turismo, second edition.

2026 - OUR FIRST STORE IN LUXEMBOURG

February 28. La Cloche d'Or, Luxembourg. A DJ. Cocktails. A private opening. Five years after the garage, the brand had a room of its own and filled it.

June. Dar El Nouar with Maison RJCP. Shot in Tangier, the city between two continents, between two shores where generations built their lives. Italian suede. Fifty boxes painted by hand.
