OPIUM — MAISON GUAVA

Paris, September 2023. Paris Fashion Week, the women's edition. Flower Instincts and Maison Guava met around a single subject — one literature has been circling for two centuries.

Opium.

The collection turned the idea into an image. Flower Instincts took the Monster Minds from Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors — the 1980s series where the plants turn predator — and reworked them into a carnivorous opium: the flower that feeds on whoever feeds it. Beauty and dependence in the same bloom.

It all came down to two pieces: an SDT, and a tee made only for the capsule.

The poet's drug, turned into an object.
