The SDT, since 2023
The SDT was launched in 2023. It draws on the skate shoes of the 90s: a low profile, a flat outsole and a choice of laces. It is the model that carries our Flower on the side.
In June 2023, during Paris Fashion Week, we opened a pop-up dressed as a late-night convenience store. On the shelves: the SDT in white, grey and baby blue.
A canvas for artists
Very quickly the SDT became the shoe we hand to artists. Rebecca Maria, a New Jersey painter and sculptor, built Bretton Woods on it in 2023. In 2024, Mister V made five SDT for Pizza Delamama, sold by raffle.
Then came Sweet Laces with Sour Flower, Karmine Corp with Ultra Blue, and Lisa Junius with Euphoria in October 2025. The Journal tells each one.
Assembled by hand
The Black Tar is the version without artwork. It takes 26 components to build one, all assembled by hand in Portugal.
The logo is engraved on the tongue and heel, not printed. Inside, an Ultra comfort insole. Underneath, a two-tone rubber outsole. It comes with flat and round laces, so you choose how it looks, and ships in its own Black Tar box.

Wearing a two-tone pair
Cream and black works with almost anything. Pick up one of the two colours elsewhere: black jeans and a cream sweater, or light denim and a black tee. Flat laces make it cleaner; round laces make it more skate.
